The older of the two Landy-Candy cabinets

Landy-Candy appeared on 25 July 2023, with Landy-Candy 100 following less than four weeks later. Both come from 1spin4win and both use the same visual language: candy canes, lollipops, green, pink and sky blue.

Seen side by side they are easily mistaken for one game. They are not. The feature lists overlap only on the wild, and the payout logic is different.

Expanding symbols instead of a collector

The feature list runs to four entries: expanding symbols, multiplier, random multiplier and wild. That is not much, but the combination is coherent. Expanding symbols fill a reel completely, turning a marginal hit into a wide combination.

The multiplier then acts on the result, in both fixed and random form. There is no Cash Collector here, no bonus symbols and no separate bonus game — unlike in the successor. Landy-Candy settles everything in the base game.

97.2 per cent, high variance, 1,000x ceiling

The RTP is 97.2 per cent, slightly above the 100 version. For a machine without a bonus round that follows logically: if no part of the return is parked inside a bonus, it has to arrive in the base game.

Volatility is still rated high, which in this build explains the expanding symbols — without them little happens, with them a great deal happens at once. The maximum win is capped at 1,000x the stake.

Stake and session rhythm

1spin4win has published neither stake limits nor payline counts. The rhythm can still be described: with no bonus round there is no target to play towards. Each spin stands alone.

That changes the planning. Rather than holding back funds for a bonus hunt, the point here is to spin evenly. The 1,000x ceiling also means a very large stake does not improve the outcome, only the cost.

Which player this fits

Players who like classic cabinet logic and find bonus rounds more of a chore than a reward. The 97.2 per cent is a genuine argument if you intend to stay at one machine for a while.

Not for anyone who wants variety through features. Four entries on the feature list are four entries — after twenty minutes you have seen everything the game does.

Landy-Candy or Landy-Candy 100?

The 100 version brings a bonus game, bonus symbols and Cash Collector but lands at 97 per cent. The original holds 97.2 per cent with only expanding symbols and multipliers. Both cap at 1,000x. Choose the 100 for structure, the original for the higher return figure.

Verdict

Landy-Candy is a deliberately small machine with one large number attached. 97.2 per cent RTP is the best figure in this catalogue, and because there is no bonus round that return arrives entirely in the base game — no waiting, no purchase option.

In exchange you accept that expanding symbols and two forms of multiplier are all that happens. The 1,000x ceiling draws a firm line above that. As a game between games, or for players with a taste for older cabinet logic, it works well; as the main event for a long evening it thins out.
